Why have we launched our new Twitter Law Firm?

http://twitter.com/#!/thelegaloracle I have been involved in the legal profession for over 20 years, and throughout that time the one thing that has always surprised or disappointed me is how many clients I speak to that are still very nervous or anxious about speaking with a solicitor. They might have heard horror stories about people picking up the phone to a solicitor and then receiving huge unexpected bills, or just be very wary of walking into a solicitors office for fear of not getting back out of there without suddenly having a team of expensive lawyers representing them. This is not the reality but I am acutely aware that it is how many people feel about the law and approaching solicitors.

This is why I have spent the last few years trying to make it far easier for people to approach solicitors. Through our main Loyalty Law service people can make a claim for compensation without any fear of large bills, or they can make a simple enquiry and then decide to do nothing at all. However, I wanted to go further to make it even easier for people to start engaging with the legal profession before they even knew whether they could make a claim or whether they do have a valid and genuine legal problem. Our new Twitter Law Firm does just that for them, it allows them to ask any simple or even complicated legal question and to receive an answer back. They can then decide to leave it there, ask more questions on Twitter, or then, feeling more comfortable with our service, ask us to help them take the matter to the next stage.
