A school pupil may need a personal injury claim company if his head teacher is found guilty of negligence after a fall at school.
Joel Murray from Liverpool joined a group of other pupils and their head teacher John Summerfield on the roof of their school during an A Levels results party in 2008.
They were up there to view the results of building works when Joel stepped on a skylight, which resulted in him falling and suffering numerous injuries, which may make him consider finding a personal injury claim solicitor.
Kevin Donnelly, prosecuting, told Liverpool Crown Court that "the very act of taking the students to that area was a breach of [Mr Summerfield's] duty of care."
The case continues.
